ZTE has introduced two Android based high-end smartphones in United States dubbed as ZTE Nubia 5 and ZTE Grand S. Both of the phones will be available to pre-order very soon at Amazon.com and some other authorized retailers without any contract. Both of the phones are not actually brand new devices because the ZTE Nubia 5 was announced back in December 2012 and the ZTE Grand S was unveiled at CES 2013 in January.
“As the software and apps available on today’s smartphones replace more and more of the other devices we use on a daily basis, the specifications for features like cameras, displays and speakers are becoming increasingly sophisticated. The Nubia 5 really pushes that trend further,”
said Lixin Cheng, Chairman and CEO of ZTE USA.
Talking about the features of these super-phones, both of the devices share almost same stuff under the hood but the only differences are in the terms of design and battery of the phones. These devices are running the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS version and come with a 5inch full HD touch screen display. These are powered by a 1.5GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor along with 2GB of RAM memory.
Camera features of the phones include 13MP rear and a 2MP front facing shooter for video calling. These devices come with 16GB of internal storage further expandable via microSD card. The Nubia 5 comes with a 2300mAh and the Grand S comes with 1780mAh battery. As the phones will be sold without any contract, they can be used with any Telecom Network provider in the US.
