Xolo Play Tegra Note Android tablet reportedly launching in October for Rs.16999

NVIDIA recently launched Tegra Note tablet with powerful Tegra 4 processor which company announced to release in different markets in collaboration with different vendors. Xolo is going to launch this tablet under its own branding dubbed as Xolo Play Tegra Note for Rs. 16,999 in the country. According to a report on Gizmodo India, the tablet will be launched in the Indian market for the mentioned price in Mid-October this year.


Xolo is yet to announce the official pricing of the tablet but company stated it will be priced between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 20,000. Features wise, NVIDIA Tegra Note tablet comes with a 7inch HD IPS LCD touch screen display with the resolution of 1280 * 800 pixels. It is powered by the Tegra 4 processor with 72-core GeForce graphics processor and quad core Cortex A15 CPU along with 1GB of RAM memory. It is running on the Android Jelly Bean operating system version and will likely receive over-the-air software updates from the company. It comes with 16GB of internal storage along with microSD card slot to expand it up to 32GB. It also comes with a decent 5MP rear camera along with VGA front facing shooter for video calling. The tablet also features front facing HD audio stereo speakers. Company claims it can provide 10 hours of HD video playback. Some of the notable features of the Tegra Note tablet include the DirectStylus technology with double-sided stylus pen, NVIDIA PureAudio technology, NVIDIA Tegra Zone store, SmugMug camera application and especially Tegra optimized games.
