XOLO is planning to launch its first Android smartphone with 4G LTE network support in Indian market next month. According to a report by GSMArena, XOLO LT900 will be the first 4G LTE device from the company and it will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. A few months back, Micromax was also reported to be working on a 4G LTE smartphone but it looks like XOLO will be the first manufacturer to launch one.
According to the report, XOLO’s 4G smartphone will be formally introduced in the country in the first week of November. The leaked press render of the phone has also revealed its design which confirms the presence of dual-LED flash on the device. In addition to high speed network support, the phone will offer 4.3inch HD OGS display with the pixel density of 341ppi.
It will sport an 8MP rear camera with BSI sensor and will also offer a high quality front facing shooter for video calling. GSMArena’s report is quite short on the features of the phone but the benchmark listing of the phone on GFXBench suggests that it is running on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system version. The processor of the phone is also supported by an Adreno 225 graphics processor.
Airtel is the only telecom operator in the country to offer 4G LTE services in limited number of cities. So, we can assume that XOLO LT900 will be launched in tie-up with Airtel. We will update you more after getting more details regarding the phone, so keep checking the blog for latest updates.
