Xiaomi is all set to launch a new Redmi series smartphone later this month. Dubbed the Xiaomi Redmi S2, the handset will be unveiled on May 10th in Nanjing, China. The new handset is expected to be a budget offering with a Snapdragon 625 SoC. Now, it seems like the company is working on yet another mid-range smartphone, which has surfaced on the benchmarking site Geekbench as the Xiaomi Valentino.

Xiaomi Valentino Geekbench

The Xiaomi Valentino listing on Geekbench suggests that the handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 638 SoC, which has a clock speed of 1.44GHz and features an octa-core CPU. The Snapdragon 638 processor is yet to be officially unveiled and is expected to be an upgraded variant of the Snapdragon 636 SoC. Further, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Xiaomi Valentino has 6GB of RAM and is running Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone has managed to score 1,485 points in the single-core test and 5,440 points in the multi-core test.

Unfortunately, the Geekbench listing hasn’t revealed any other specifications of the Xiaomi Valentino. We will update you more about the device as soon as the company confirms anything officially, so stay tuned.
