According to the leaked firmware, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will feature an aspect ratio of 18:9, and will come with a full HD+ screen panel. The phone will come powered by Qualcomm’s latest top-notch Snapdragon 845 processor, and will be fuelled by a beefy 3,400mAh battery. The device will come with AI camera features, and will have scene recognition support. A few binaries for the camera sensor embedded in the vendor partition suggest that the phone will come with a Sony IMX363 image sensor.

Some other details leaked by the Mi Mix 2S firmware files suggest that the phone will come with dual SIM slots. The handset will come with an IR blaster and an LED light for notifications. The source says that the firmware is massive, so there’s a lot to dig through. We expect the folks at XDA to reveal more details about the device from the firmware in the coming days.

As per the earlier reports, the Mi Mix 2S will come with a dual primary camera setup at the rear. On the front, it will feature narrow bezels and a small notch on the top right corner for the selfie flash. The device is expected to come with a 5.99-inch FHD+ display, 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, and up to 256GB of storage.

According to the rumour mill, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will be unveiled at the upcoming MWC 2018 in Barcelona, Spain. However, it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.
