Now, the company is all set to launch yet another budget smartphone in the country. 91mobiles has learned that Vivo is all set to launch the Y81 handset in India next week. Our sources also suggest that the phone will carry a price tag of around Rs 14,000. The handset was originally launched in Vietnam and Pakistan earlier this year in June.

Talking about the features, the Vivo Y81 sports a metal unibody design and comes with slim bezels on all the sides. The phone ditches a fingerprint sensor in favour of face unlock functionality. The handset comes with a 6.22-inch HD+ IP display bearing a notch and a tall aspect ratio of 19:9. Powering the phone is a MediaTek Helio P22 processor, aided by 3GB of RAM. The storage capacity on board is 32GB, which can be further increased up to 256GB by inserting a microSD card.

For imaging, the Vivo Y81 offers a 13-megapixel primary shooter at the rear with an aperture of f/2.2 and an LED flash unit. For selfies and video calling, there’s a 5-megapixel snapper on the front. In terms of connectivity, the phone offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. Software-wise, the device boots Funtouch OS based on Android 8.1 Oreo. A 3,260mAh battery completes the list of specifications.
