The USP of the Vivo X20 is the 6.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system, with FunTouch OS running on top. The smartphone has the mid-range Snapdragon 660 SoC ticking under the hood. Vivo has coupled the processor with 4GB of RAM. The device is being offered in two variants – 64GB and 128GB. As is expected from a Vivo smartphone, the X20 flaunts a 24-megapixel selfie camera. On the other hand, the dual camera module on the rear panel is a combination of 24MP+ 5MP sensors.

Apart from the fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, the device also features Face Wake, which is just another term for face recognition by the brand. For audiophiles, the Vivo X20 retains the Hi-Fi audio chip AK4376A from the recently launched Vivo V7+. The power reserve of the device has been pegged at 3,245mAh, which comes with support for quick charging.

The Vivo X20 Plus on the other hand retains the spec sheet of the X20 except for a 6.43-inch display and upgraded camera with multi-axis optical image stabilisation, and specially designed ultra-thin OIS motor. These smartphones also happen to be the first from the brand with Vivo’s AI assistant baked into the UI.

Vivo is offering its newest launch in three colour options – Rose Gold, Gold and Matte Black. The Vivo X20 bears a price tag of RMB 2,998 (~Rs 30,000) for 64GB variant and RMB 3,398 (~Rs 34,000) for the 128GB version. The X20 Plus on the other hand will retail for RMB 3,498 (~Rs 35,000).
