“The Vivo X20 and X20 Plus will feature Snapdragon 660 and 630 SoCs, respectively”
It seems that the month of Septemer is hot spot for smartphone launches with IFA 2017 underway and Apple’s event scheduled on September 12th. Now, we have a confirmation that Vivo will be launching its new smartphones, the Vivo X20 and X20 Plus.
According to the source, both these handsets will feature bezel-less display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The Vivo X20 flaunts a 5.2-inch display on the front, whereas, the X20 Plus features a bigger 5.5-inch display. On the processor front, Vivo X20 is powered by Snapdragon 630, and the X20 Plus has Snapdragon 660, with 6GB RAM being the common denominator. The USP of the device is the 24-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Flaunting a metal and glass infused body, both smartphones run the last generation Android 7.1 Nougat operating system out of the box. Coming to the battery, both X20 and X20 Plus are expected to have 3,500mAh cell. From the image, we cannot find a fingerprint scanner, which hints toward the fact that these handsets might be the first to come with biometrics integrated in the display.
The source also mentions that Vivo X20 and X20 Plus will be called V7 and V7+ in international markets. The V7+ is scheduled to launch in India this month. As of now, there is no confirmation regarding the price and exact launch date of the handsets.
