Videocon A42 launches with 4.5inch display for Rs.7490

Videocon Mobiles has launched a new Android based smartphone in India dubbed as Videocon A42 for Rs. 7,490. Company is steadily making its presence in the Indian smartphone market and with its latest entry it is targeting the budget conscious buyers. The latest phone from the company comes with a 4.5inch display and runs on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system version.

Features wise, Videocon A42 comes with a big 4.5inch WVGA touch screen display with the resolution of 480 * 854 pixels which is quite good enough to provide decent multimedia viewing experience in this budget range. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor along with 1GB of RAM memory which can easily provide smooth Android 4.2.2 software experience to the buyers. It comes with a 5MP rear camera along with LED flash and there is a 1.3MP front facing shooter is also present in the device. It comes with 4GB of internal storage which is further expendable up to 32GB via external microSD card. It is a dual SIM device with Dual Standby. Connectivity features of the phone include WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G network support. It is powered by a 1700mAh battery and comes with pre-loaded apps like Saavn, Fun Zone and Hungama Entertainment. Videocon has also pre-loaded the V-Store application mall in the phone to get more applications on the device besides the Google Play Store. Overall, the features of the phone are good enough to provide decent smartphone experience in this range. The phone will be available to buy from online and offline stores in a few days.
