Star Wars is a cult classic which needs no introduction. The film has been at the cornerstone of Sci-Fi entertainment since the late 1970’s. With next edition of the movie, Star Wars — The Last Jedi upon us, we wanted to share with you five of our favourite Star Wars games.

In fact, popular smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has partnered with the brand to launch a limited-edition OnePlus 5T which comes in a unique colourway. However, if you’ve already purchased the standard edition of the smartphone, you can still enjoy the hype leading up to the movie by immersing yourself in some fun Star Wars games. The OnePlus 5T is one of the most powerful smartphones out there, complete with a Snapdragon 835 chip, up to 8 gigs of RAM, and an 18:9 display. Since the Google Play Store has a lot of clone titles (pun intended), we decided to list out the top five Star Wars games which will bring out the geek in you. Take a look.

These games have been developed by a mix of developers featuring known names like Rovio, Electronic Arts, Disney, Netmarble games & Aspyr media. So, without a further ado, here are our picks.

Rovio Entertainment are the creators of the popular game franchise — Angry Birds. In this iteration of the game, the gameplay and story line remains the same but with one aim difference, you get to choose a side. In this version of the game, you can choose the dark side — Pork federation. You can also select from a plethora of characters like Darth Maul, Emperor Palpatine, R2-D2, Jedi Youngling, and Jar Jar Binks, amongst others. This game is hours of endless fun. Electronic Arts brings to gamers a more intense experience with Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, a turn-based RPG (role-playing game). The objective of the game is to collect as many cards/heroes as possible, and then use them against enemies. The game is an immersive experience allowing you to collect characters from the classic era and also from recent releases like Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Rogue One series to build their ultimate fantasy squad. Collect characters, iconic starships to construct your war fleets to grow strong enough to rule over the galaxy.

Star Wars: Force Arena by Netmarble Games

Star Wars: Force Arena by South Korean developer Netmarble games brings to Star Wars fans an excellent MOBA game. This games blends collectible card-based with P2P (Player V/s Player) battles. The objective of the game is to blow up enemy bases in real-time multiple player battles. Seems easy but it is not. The bases are protected by turrets and a host of other defence systems. You can also play the game with your friends by participating 2v2 battles.

Star Wars: Commander by Disney

Star Wars Commander

There’s no denying the fact – Star Wars Commander takes its inspiration from hit base-building game Clash of Clans. In Commander, players will be given the choice to fight for the Rebellion or the Empire based on which, the game will allocate different troops and units to the user. The players will then proceed to collect scrap materials to build their base from the ground up and can then engage in squad battles with their friends or play a single-player campaign as well.

Star Wars: KOTOR by Aspyr Media, Inc.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic is an RPG game which was originally developed by BioWare for Console and PC platforms. Now, fans of the hit game can enjoy it on-the-go as a port for the same is available for download on the Google Play Store. In KOTOR, players will be able to choose from three character classes at the beginning and their choices during the course of the campaign will determine whether the player’s character aligns with the light side or the dark side.
