Indigenous brand Kult recently launched its budget battery-centric smartphone – Gladiator, in India. That’s because of the fact that the all-metal phone sports a beefy 4,000mAh battery under its rear panel. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD On-Cell display with a layer of 2.5D curved glass. On the performance front, it has a 64-bit 1.25GHz quad-core processor, mated to a Mali T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The storage capacity on board is 32GB, which can be further expanded by another 32GB. The Android Nougat-based smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel autofocus primary shooter with and an 8-megapixel front snapper, both accompanied by LED flash units.
The leading brand in the VFM segment, Xiaomi, is known for offering powerful batteries in its smartphones. Since the third generation of its Redmi series, the brand has been offering upwards of 4,000mAh battery capacities in its offerings, and the latest Redmi 4 is no exception with its 4,100mAh battery. The performance of the device is pretty commendable owing to the Snapdragon 435 SoC, which has a 1.4GHz octa-core processor. It works in tandem with 2GB of RAM. Up front, the phone gets a 5-inch panel with HD resolution. For imaging, there’s a 13-megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel front camera. With a price tag starting from Rs 6,999, the Redmi 4 is pretty good value for money.

The Lenovo-backed brand, Motorola recently launched a new C series with the Moto C being its first ever offline-exclusive device. However, it is the elder sibling, the Moto C Plus, which finds its way on to this list. The stock Android Nougat-based handset sips juice from a 4,000mAh battery, which can easily last a day and then some. The handset also comes with support for rapid charging, but sadly, the bundled adapter does not support the same. At its core is a quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6737 SoC, which works alongside 2GB RAM. The phone gets an 8MP primary camera and 2MP front selfie camera for photography. With vanilla Android and the promise of frequent updates, the Moto C Plus is a compelling offering for Rs 6,999.

InFocus is the latest to join the herd of battery-wielding budget smartphones. Its newest offering, the Turbo 5, comes with a gigantic 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch HD display and runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system in a near-stock avatar. Performance-wise, the InFocus Turbo 5 has a quad-core 1.2GHz MediaTek MTK6737 SoC clubbed with 2GB RAM. For shooting, it offers 13MP and 5MP shooters on the rear and front panels, respectively. Apart from this, the InFocus Turbo 5 is also the second on this list to feature a fingerprint scanner, after the Xiaomi Redmi 4.

The third device on this list with a fingerprint scanner, the Micromax Evok Power is an intriguing looking smartphone with a 4,000mAh battery. It’s crafted out of polycarbonate and comes with a rubber bumper all around the edges, which gives it a unique look to begin with. The device ships with near stock version of the dated Android 6.0 Marshmallow and flaunts a 5-inch HD display on the front. The Micromax Evok Power gets the standard camera setup with 8MP rear and 5MP front shooters. The phone is available on Flipkart exclusively for Rs 6,999.

If you can stretch your budget to Rs 10,000, you can land yourself the Panasonic Eluga Ray 700 and Moto E4 Plus. Both these smartphones have been priced at Rs 9,999, equipped with a massive 5,000mAh battery and come with a loaded spec sheet.
