Genius boasts the largest collection of song lyrics and crowdsourced annotations for explaining meanings of songs. With the latest update, the app enables you to see lyrics of the song being played currently on the device, which is quite useful. For this capability, you simply need to provide notification access to the app.

HikeHike {Update} (Free)

Hike, an Indian instant messaging service, is constantly adding more local flavours to its app. The latest version brings support for eight Indic languages, and what’s more interesting is that users can also type in these languages with the built-in keyboard. Another feature that this update brings is to make voice calls through Hike Direct, which connects users of the app without the need of any internet connectivity.

Virtual Reality became more than a buzzword this year, as quite a few headsets were launched commercially. However, if you’re using an Android-based headset such as Google Cardboard, finding compatible apps for the same isn’t an easy task, and that’s where WEARVR comes in. The app enlists more than 1,000 VR apps and games.

Snapchat made ephemerality a popular concept, and now it seems many other instant messaging services are adding this feature to their arsenal. Viber has launched an app called Wink, which works in conjunction with the parent app to let users send photos or videos to others with a set time limit. The message will disappear once they’ve seen it.

Mechanic Escape is a game revolving around a few TV sets who’re trying to avoid getting obsolete like their friends. You will be playing as the protagonist named Mech and need to pass through high-voltage areas and dodge deadly machines to find his lost friends. Space JetSpace Jet (Free)

Space Jet is a shooting game set in space, but what sets it apart from several other games in this genre is its multiplayer capabilities. You can team up with other players and try to eliminate the enemy. You can choose between 20 ships, and also upgrade their weapons, engine, shield and armour.
