Google introduced the Android Device Manager last year to help you track your smartphone and remotely wipe the data, if the need arises. However, you always need to have a computer to sign in to your account and then locate your device via the device manager. With this update, you no longer need a computer as you can guest sign-in from any Android device.


MyntraMyntra (Free)

This clothing retail website has been in the news since last week, when it was acquired by e-commerce giant Flipkart for a sum of $330 million. This time around, Myntra is making it easier for consumers to buy apparel on the go with its new app. Even with a vast range of 60,000+ products, the app has a simplistic and clutter-free interface. Users can also share their selection(s) with others via SMS or social networks.

NaviMapsNaviMaps (Free)

MapMyIndia is popular for its range of mapping tech, covering the entire country and spanning multiple platforms, straight from the desktop to smartphones and tablets, along with dedicated navigation devices. Now, the company is offering a freemium app that can work offline and suggest alternate routes and voice-based guidance in 10 vernacular languages including Marathi, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu and more. Although the free service provides you up to three alternate routes along with one pedestrian route, and the ability of sharing the live route on social media channels, the paid upgrade gives more options like voice-based guidance.

The in-app purchase will cost you Rs 599, while map updates are priced at Rs 299.

PocketPocket {Update} (Free)

If you’ve accumulated a long list of to-be-read items in your Pocket account, then this latest update might sound interesting to you. The service is now offering a premium account to users, which allows them to store all their articles permanently even if the original is deleted. Paid users also get a better search experience as well as automatic tag suggestions for the articles. But don’t worry if you don’t want to shell out money, as this update also brings features like better tag management.

The paid subscription will cost $4.99 monthly or $44.99 annually.

SunriseSunrise Calendar (Free)

Even with tons of calendar apps available on the Play Store, all of them leave something to be desired – they aren’t cross-platform, don’t offer much benefits over the default Google Calendar and so on. Popular iOS app, Sunrise is now making its way to the Android ecosystem along with a slick web app. What this means is that your calendar is synced across different devices and platforms. It has a beautiful interface and offers most of the functionalities such as weekly, monthly or agenda views, widgets for home screen, etcetera.

We have featured the Humble Bundle time and again for the simple reason that you get games for cheap, while doing charity. If you like to unravel mysteries plus like story-based game format, then this game will take you across the Middle East, trailing the journey of popular explorer Ibn Batuta. You’ll be playing as Faris Jayed and with the help of your sister Dania, you’ll not only have to find the dark secret but also fight others who are after it.

Do keep in mind that you should have enough storage free, since the game has an installation size of 1.6GB.
