While most keyboards offers swipe-to-type and predictive typing functionality, Fleksy allows you to type faster by customising it the way you want. With the latest update, the app has added the native capability of sending GIFs, which has become quite popular on messaging platforms like FB Messenger and WhatsApp. You can search for relevant GIFs or browse through different categories to find the one you want. InstagramInstagram {Update} (Free)

While Instagram is amongst the most used smartphone photography apps, the Facebook-owned company hasn’t added many filters to its original catalogue ever since its inception. However that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore as after adding a bunch of new filters back in December, the app has added three more – Lark, Reyes and Juno, and they can be used to brighten the photo. Another new feature the update brings is the ability to hashtag emojis. So, along with text, you can also click on the hashtagged emojis to see what others have posted with the same theme.

Within the past few months, live streaming what’s going around you have become a really popular phenomenon with apps like Meerkat and Periscope making it an extremely simple task. Sadly, these apps only catered to the iOS platform, but now Meerkat has introduced its official app for Android users. The app allows you to broadcast live to your Twitter followers, and in case they also have the app, then they can watch, comment and interact with your video.

OperaOpera {Update} (Free)

Just a couple of weeks after updating Opera Mini, the company has updated its flagship Opera browser. The update improves the off-road functionality under a new name called Turbo, which saves precious data by using its proprietary compression technology, but earlier resulted in broken webpages for a few websites. The version also brings the ability to sync tabs across multiple devices, and manage them via the redesigned tab manager.

Broken AgeBroken Age (Rs 635.89)

Broken Age is the result of a successful crowdfunding campaign and offers an immersive gaming experience to the players. Instead of just one protagonist, you’ll be following the lives of two different persons – Vella Tartine and Shay Volta. While they live in similar situations, their worlds are radically different. The split gameplay allows you to choose freely as you can step into their shoes whenever you want. The hand-painted art makes the graphics look beautiful, while there are roster of actors who have lend their voice dialogues to the title, making the game even more addictive.

MARVEL Future FightMARVEL Future Fight (Free)

With the Avengers: Age of Ultron, released just last week, most of the fans would already be excited to be a part of Marvel’s Universe in other ways too. Well, the company has released a new Action-RPG game dubbed Future Fight for such an audience. Not just Avengers, you can also play with other superheroes and superhero teams like Guardians of the Galaxy with this title. With multiple dimensions and universe collapsing with each other, you’ll have to step in to ensure that humanity survives. To do so, you can assemble your team of heroes and fight one-on-one or 3v3 battles. The game is based on a story to make it more engaging.

If you want to try out some new keyboard on your Android device, then you can take a look at the result of Swiftkey’s experiments with its new Greenhouse initiative. It has recently launched a new keyboard app called Clarity, which is currently in beta stage, but allows the user to type fast thanks to its multi-word autocorrect technology.
