Tata Docomo launches Photon Max WiFi dongle for Rs 1,999

Tata DoCoMo Photon Max WiFi Indian Broadband and Telecommunication services provider, Tata DoCoMo has launched a new dongle in its Photon range. Dubbed as Photon Max WiFi, the dongle can provide internet access to the laptop it is plugged into, along with the ability to serve as a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 5 devices. Photon Max WiFi is powered by a Qualcomm Gobi dual-core processor technology which supports Rev-B CDMA networks. According to the company claims, Photon Max WiFi can offer speeds up to 6.2 Mbps. Users can share their internet with up to 5 devices via Wi-Fi. Operator has priced the Photon Max WiFi dongle affordably at Rs 1,999 making it the cheapest Wi-Fi hotspot based dongle. The plans for the dongle starts from Rs 650 for 3 GB unlimited data and goes all the way up to Rs 1,500 for 15 GB unlimited data. Due to Fair Usage Policy, once the limit is crossed the speed will be restricted to 153.6 Kbps. Users can also take advanced rental plan for Rs 4,999 which includes the dongle as well as 15 GB of unlimited usage for 3 months. Users not interested in monthly plans can also use the dongle with Pay as you Go plans.
