For its GSM pre-paid clients, Tata DOCOMO has rolled out a Twitter app, which will permit them to recharge as well as activate a Value added service/ application via the micro blogging site.
The e-commerce scheme launched by the unified telecom brand of Tata Teleservices Limited (TTL) is named as Twittcom.
The novel plan has been formulated in an indigenous manner by the expert group at Tata Teleservices Limited.
To get their numbers registered, the customers have to follow a straightforward procedure. They have to visit the twitter handle of the firm @tatadocomo
, type in #reg <Mobile Number>, and they will get a pin code for confirmation via text message.
Once the client receives the confirmation code, he/she have to follow the twitter handle yet again, key in #code <Pincode> and they will obtain a retweet verifying registration.
In order to activate value added services (VAS), the procedure is too easy; a client just have to visit the handle (@tatadocomo) and put in #act# <Service><value>.
They will obtain a twit back verifying activation regarding the service.
