Swipe MTV Slate, Quad core 3G tablet, launched for Rs 14999

Swipe is famous for releasing extra large mobile phones under its MTV range. Its been a while we saw anything from the company after MTV Volt. Better late then never, company is back with a tablet called Slate (ooops HP). Swipe-MTV-Slate Swipe MTV Slate sports a 7.85 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024×768 pixels running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. 7.85 inch screen size has gained popularity after Apple iPad mini was launched with same screen size proving significant benefits over the regular 7 inch size. The tablet has been powered by 1.2 GHz Cortex A7 Quad core processor which is supported by 1GB of RAM. This decent configuration makes the tablet optimal for multitasking, gaming and other resource hog activities. For storage, it has 8Gb of internal space which can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. In terms of camera, it has a 5 Mega Pixel camera embedded at back for photography and a VGA front camera for video chatting. Since the tablet supports both Wi-Fi and 3G, video calling is a breeze with this tablet. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth, MicroUSB etc. For back up, the company has equipped this device with a 3200 mAH battery. Swipe MTV Slate along with a free business cover has been priced Rs 14999 and would be hitting the market very soon.
