Latest leaks originating from Taiwan have put a light on the features of the alleged Sony Honami i1 or Sony Xperia i1 upcoming smartphone. According to a leaked report from Taiwanese source suggest that the phone will come with a massive 20MP rear shooter with special image sensors. Its been a quite a long time since the phone is roaming on the web in leaked photos and rumors.
According to the sources the phone will come with a 5MP HD display with 1080 pixels resolution. It will be powered by a 2.2GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 800 processor with higher performance along with 2GB of RAM memory. Hot talked specification of the phone is the 20MP rear Exmor RS camera that will also feature Sony G-Lens and special BIONZ image processor. Sony is using these special features from quite a long time in its digital cameras.
The phone will be running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and will be powered by a 3000mAh battery. The leaked reports also suggest that it will come with a 2MP front camera, which is quite low for a flagship device. It will be having 16GB of internal storage along with microSd card slot.
Sony has also started sending invites to the press for September 4 event in the IFA Trade Fair and it is highly expected that company might announce Sony Xperia i1 there. Sony is not making any buzz in the smartphone market since it announced the Sony Xperia Z Ultra but it is quite obvious that company is working on something new. Source
