Samsung upcoming Galaxy Tabs

We already know that Samsung is working on two new tablets with Super AMOLED displays, and now thanks to a leak we have all the specifications of the upcoming devices. In addition, a new Samsung tablet with 13.3-inch screen size has also emerged on the web. All three new tablets will be introduced in 3G and Wi-Fi-only variants.

Galaxy Tab S 10.5

The Samsung Galaxy T801/T800 aka ‘Chagall’ is likely to be the part of Galaxy Tab S series with a 10.5-inch display, while the Galaxy T701/T700 will offer an 8.4-inch display, both based on Super AMOLED technology. The tablets will be powered by a Samsung Exynos 5 chipset with four Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 1.9GHz and four Cortex-A7 cores ticking at 1.3GHz. Performance will be aided by a Mali-T628 GPU and 933MHz LPDDR3e RAM. They will also feature a fingerprint reader, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S5, and will sport 8MP rear and 2MP front shooters.

Galaxy Tab S 10.5 back

The 13.3-inch Samsung tablet is codenamed ‘Warhol’ with the model number T911/T910. It will offer an LCD display with a whopping resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. No other details are available about the tablet at the moment.

All the tablets will run Android 4.4 KitKat layered with Samsung’s Magazine UI. We recently reported leaked images of the upcoming Galaxy S tablets, which revealed that they will arrive with a textured back, similar to the Galaxy S5.
