Samsung launches Ativ Q, tablet and laptop hybrid with Dual Operating Systems

Samsung has launched a hybrid tablet cum laptop device dubbed as Samsung Ativ Q with dual boot support. It comes with Windows 8 and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating systems and users will have choice to boot any of them at the start-up. Samsung has powered this hybrid device with the latest Intel Haswell Core-i5 processor along with 4GB of RAM memory. Company has also created a connection between the PC & Mobile OS to transfer files and access other stuff.

  • It comes with a 13.3inch display with the resolution of 3200*1800pixels
  • It is powered by an Intel Core-i5 processor along with 4GB of RAM memory
  • It comes with 128GB of storage capacity with internal SSD
  • It also comes with a 720p HD camera
  • For connectivity it has USB3.0, USB2.0 and HDMI ports
  • It claims to provide around 9hours of battery backup
  • It also comes with S-Pen support
Samsung Ativ Q can be used as a laptop & a tablet because it comes with a removable keyboard dock. You can plug it to the keyboard and use it as a laptop machine or simply unplug it from the dock and use it as a 13.3inch tablet. Release date and pricing information for the Samsung Ativ Q is not officially unveiled yet.
