The South Korean tech giant, Samsung has silently released a new Android smartphone in the Galaxy Series in China dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Trend 3 in multiple versions. It is the successor to the company’s previously launched Samsung Galaxy Trend and Samsung Galaxy Trend 2 Android devices. Price and availability date of the phone for global markets is not yet released by the company but it will be soon available in China on all four major Telecom Operators in the country.
Features wise, Samsung Galaxy Trend 3 is a mid-range device that comes with a 4.3inch WVGA capacitive touch screen display with the resolution of 480*800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor with unknown RAM memory. It comes with a decent 1800mAh battery under the hood. It comes with dual SIM connectivity and supports microSD cards up to 32GB. Internal storage in the phone is not yet disclosed by the company.
Two models of the phone, GT-G3509 and GT-G3508 will be shipped with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system version, whereas GT-G3502 and GT-G3502U will be powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS version out of the box. GT-G3502U sports a 5MP rear main camera, while the other three variants come with 3MP rear shooter. It will be available to buy in China with three color choices including Black, Powder Pink and White. Samsung has mentioned it will be pre-loaded with some apps like Samsung App Store and ChatOn Instant Messenger. Recently, Samsung Galaxy Trend Duos with dual SIM connectivity started selling in India for Rs. 8,700.
