“Short on time? Read through our slideshow review of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S”
For a long time, the Apple iPad has held the undisputed place at the top of the tablet chain. While Android tablets continue to pepper the market, until now, there hasn’t been an option that’s formidable enough to take a bite out of the apple (pun intended). Samsung, a brand known for its tablets as much as its smartphones, has significant experience in this category. Given the long-standing rivalry between the two brands, it’s only fitting that Samsung should launch a slate that’s worthy of being an iPad alternative. The Galaxy Tab S range, available in 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch sizes, certainly looks the part. We’ve had the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 LTE with us for a while now, and we gave you a peek at the tablet during our unboxing and first impressions. Our in-depth review is coming up shortly, but here’s a taster in the meanwhile.
