There are two versions of the Galaxy S4 that will come with different processors in different regions. The first version is powered by a 1.9GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 600 Processor for the US carriers. The other version will have a 1.6GHz Exynos 5 octa core processor that will be released in other parts of the world. The reason the American carriers are getting a quad core processor is due to some issues that the processor was having with 4G LTE connectivity compatibility. Both the processors will be coupled with 2GB DDR3 of RAM The Snapdragon 600 processor is very powerful and will perform wonderfully with Android interface and its apps. So, users need not worry that their device performance might not be up to the mark. The Exynos 5 octa processor uses ARM’s latest big.LITTLE architecture that is built around four low-power Cortex-A7 cores for the regular tasks for standby or interface navigation, and four Cortex-A15 ones for the heavy duty activities like multi tasking and surfing. Both versions will also feature a quad-core PowerVR SGX544 GPU to deliver mind blowing multimedia experience.
