The first smartphone with a curved display, Samsung Galaxy Round is officially unveiled by the South Korean tech giant. It seems to be a special variant of the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phablet with a curved super flexible display. The phone will be available to buy on Korean telecom operator SK Telecom starting from tomorrow for 1 Million Won which is around 1000 US Dollars. At the moment, there is no word from the company on the global release of the phone.
Features wise, Samsung Galaxy Round comes with a 5.7inch full HD Flexible AMOLED display. It is powered by a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 quad core processor along with whopping 3GB of RAM memory. It comes with a 13MP rear and 2MP front facing camera. It is running on the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system version along with Samsung TouchWiz UI.

Samsung noted in the press release.
Samsung has loaded the phone with some special software features like roll effect, gravity effect, side mirror and bounce UX. Roll effects allows the users to check information like date, time, missed call etc. by tilting the device to themselves. Side mirror allows to check the content in the album by tilting the device from left to right and gravity effect creates visual interaction with the display by tilting the device.
