“The Galaxy Note 9 is expected to come with an under-display fingerprint scanner”
The South Korean handset maker, Samsung is expected to launch its next flagship – the Galaxy Note 9 in the month of August. Ahead of the unveiling, the flagship has already been spotted numerous times with the Exynos and Snapdragon variants popping up on the benchmarking website Geekbench. Now, an alleged Galaxy Note 9 protective tempered glass screen protector has been spotted on the Chinese e-commerce website, Alibaba.
The listing shows the tempered glass protector with the usual array of sensors on the top along with the earpiece. However, what’s more interesting is that the screen protector hints towards the presence of slimmer top and bottom bezels on the upcoming flagship. From the previous reports, we know that the smartphone is expected to come in Exynos 9810 and Snapdragon 845 SoC variants, 6GB of RAM, and Android 8.1 Oreo. Unfortunately, no other information is known about the smartphone at the moment.
Its worth mentioning that there’s no way to confirm that the it’s indeed the tempered glass for the forthcoming Galaxy Note 9, so take this with a grain of salt. We will bring you more updates as and when they emerge, so stay tuned.
