“The Galaxy J7+ sports 13MP + 5MP shooter dual camera setup at the rear”
Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy Note8 (first impressions) as its first smartphone to flaunt dual cameras. Now, the company has unveiled the Galaxy J7+ as its second dual camera-toting smartphone in Thailand. As already indicated by several leaks and reports, the Galaxy J7+ is a mid-range offering with a metal unibody design, a fingerprint sensor in the home button, an always-on display and the Bixby Home app.
Talking about the dual cameras first, the Samsung Galaxy J7+ offers a 13-megapixel primary shooter at the rear with an f/1.7 aperture lens, mated to a 5-megapixel snapper featuring an aperture of f/1.9. The phone gets a depth of field mode to offer a post-shot focusing capability as well as bokeh effects. For selfies, the device features a 16-megapixel shooter with an aperture of f/1.9 and an LED flash.
As for the other specs, the Samsung Galaxy J7+ gets a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display. The phone utilises an unspecified 2.39GHz processor, mated to 4GB of RAM. The storage capacity on board is 32GB, which can be further increased up to 256GB by inserting a microSD card. 4G LTE and a 3,000mAh battery complete the list of the specs.
The Samsung Galaxy J7+ is priced at THB 12,900 (~Rs 24,900), and is currently up for pre-order in Thailand. The phone will go on sale in the country on September 17th. Samsung hasn’t revealed the availability for other markets at the moment.
