Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch launching on September 4, reported to make phone calls

IFA Trade Show in Berlin is just a few weeks away but still many rumors are emerging on the web related to the devices to be unveiled there. One of the highly anticipated gadgets to be unveiled next month is the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Early rumors suggested that it will be just a wearable smartwatch that will be able to connect to your smartphones and tablet but now according to a report on Bloomberg, it will also allow the users to make phone calls.

Bloomberg reported that the upcoming smart device from the South Korean tech giant the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch will be able to let the users check their emails, surf the web and indeed make calls. If the sources are to be believed than it will be kind on a wearable smartphone with all the features you need on your wrist. Rumored specs of the smart watch suggest that it will be featuring a 1.67inch AMOLED display. It will be powered by Exynos 4212 chipset along with 1GB of RAM memory. It will be having Bluetooth and NFC connectivity features. It is also reported to feature a 2MP camera which is hard to believe at the moment. Bloomberg also reported that it will not feature a flexible display unlike earlier reports on the web suggested Samsung is developing it with its own bendable displays.
