The South Korean smartphone manufacturer is all set to launch Samsung Galaxy Express and Samsung Galaxy Premier Android phones in India. Both of these devices are listed on the Infibeam.com with coming soon tag. Price of these Galaxy phones is not yet disclosed by the online retailer but features of these devices suggest they will be joining the mid-range smartphone segment in the country.
Samsung Galaxy Express comes with a 4.5inch Super AMOLED touch screen display with the resolution of 480*800 pixels. It is powered by a dual core 1.2GHz processor along with 1GB of RAM memory. It is running the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system version and comes with 8GB internal storage expendable up to 32GB via microSD card. It is powered by a 2000mAh battery and connectivity features of the phone include WiFi, Bluetooth and USB 2.0. Camera features of the phone include 5MP rear and 1.3MP front shooters.
And, the Samsung Galaxy Premier features a 4.6inch HD Super AMOLED display with the resolution of 720*1280 pixels. It is also running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS version but powered by a 1.5GHz dual core processor along with 1GB of RAM memory. Other features of the phone include 8MP rear & 1.9MP front cameras, 2100mAh battery, 8GB & 16GB internal storage models and WiFi, Bluetooth & NFC connectivity. Looking at the specifications of these devices, it seems that Samsung Galaxy Express will be priced around Rs. 15-16,000 and Samsung Galaxy Premier around Rs. 20,000.
