Samsung Galaxy Express 2 with Android 4.2 and 4.5inch display launched

The South Korean tech giant, Samsung has added a new phone in its portfolio for the budget conscious buyers dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Express 2. It is running on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system version and comes with a 4.5inch qHD touch display. The phone will be first landing in the United Kingdom for Vodafone telecom operator. However, company hasn’t yet revealed any info about the price and global availability of the phone. Samsung Galaxy Express 2 Features wise, Samsung Galaxy Express 2 offers a qHD display with the resolution of 540*960 pixels. It is powered by a 1.7GHz dual core processor (unspecified chipset) along with 1.5GB RAM. It comes with 4GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It will be available to buy in two color versions – Ceramic White and Rigel Blue. “Our latest addition to the Galaxy portfolio, the Galaxy Express 2 has been designed to provide a faster and smoother user experience. As with all smartphones in our Galaxy range, the Galaxy Express 2 is packed full of intuitive features and smart functions, offering customers superior performance.” Simon Stanford, VP of IT & Mobile Division, Samsung UK & Ireland commented on the launch. Samsung has also pre-loaded the phone with cool Samsung Apps like Smart Stay which usages facial expression to detect if the user is using the phone, Group Play allows to share music and other documents with compatible Samsung devices. In addition to that, company has also loaded S Travel, Story Album and S Translator to the phone to make it a perfect travel companion.
