Samsung unveils a range of headphones and wireless speakers in India, prices start at Rs 1,899

Samsung has expanded its range of audio accessories in India by launching a range of products. The company has launched three speakers, a pair of in-ear type Bluetooth headphones and a pair of in-ear wired headphones. 

Samsung Bottle SpeakerThe first of the three speakers launched by Samsung is called the Level Box Slim which boasts a compact design and an IPX7 rating for protection against water. The speaker ships with a 2,600mAh battery which offers up to 30 hours of music playback and also functions as a portable charger for smartphones and tablets. The speaker also features a built-in mic which has been backed by noise-reduction and echo-cancellation technology to ensure good call quality. 

The second speaker in Samsung’s latest range of accessories is the Bottle design speaker. The speaker offers a 360-degree surround sound experience and comes with mood-lighting which can be tweaked to showcase different patterns via the Lux Manager app. The company claims that the speaker can last buyers up to four hours with the LED lights and the music playing in the background. However, buyers can up extend the battery life up to 8-hours with the LED lights off. Furthermore, buyers can charge the speaker via a standard microUSB port or even opt for wireless charging with the Bottle speaker. 

Samsung Scoop designFinally, the company has also unveiled the Scoop design speaker, which comes with a splash-resistant design and features up to eight hours of music playback. The speaker also gets a built-in mic, which is again backed by the company’s noise-reduction and echo-cancellation technology. 

Moving on the earphones, Samsung has launched the Level Active Bluetooth earbuds which come with a splash-resistant design and S-Health app integration. Buyers can monitor their workout via the Active Key function of the Level Active earphones and see their progress on the S-Health app. Specs-wise, the earbuds are powered by a 5mm dynamic unit and come with two microphones. The earbuds support Qualcomm’s apt-X and SBC codec and stream music over Bluetooth 4.1. A 100mAh battery powers the entire package which the company claims offers up to 250 hours of standby time.


Lastly, the company has launched the in-ear Rectangle design headphones which come with a 10mm dynamic woofer unit and an 8mm tweeter unit. The earphones feature a flat-style cable, get a built-in remote for music playback and connect to compatible devices via a 3.5mm headphone jack. 

As for the pricing, the Samsung Level Bo Slim is available for Rs 6,699 while the Bottle speaker will set interested buyers back by Rs 4,999. The Scoop speaker retails for Rs 2,799 with the Level Active earphones cost Rs 4,999. Last but not the least, the Rectangle headset can be picked up for Rs 1,899.
