Rumor: Blackberry Z10 to be priced under Rs.20,000

The Much Awaited Blackberry Z10 is rumoured to be launched at a price tag of under Rs.20,000.


According to a report published by themobileindian, RIM is all set to launch Blackberry Z10, its first Full Touch Smartphone running on Blackberry 10 Operating System.

The Internet is flooded with many leaked reports containing images and specifications of upcoming Blackberry Z10.

This Smartphone will support a 2 inch HD Display producing a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels. It may be powered by 1.5GHz Dual Core Processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.

It houses an 8 Megapixels Rear camera capable of recording Full HD videos and a 2 Megapixels Front Camera for Video calling.

Blackberry Z10 will carry 16GB of internal memory, which is expandable by using a microSD Card.

Its Connectivity Options include 4G LTE, 3G, NFC, Wi-fi, Bluetooth v4.0 LE, GPS with A-GPS, microUSB, microHDMI out and other standard options. Ambient Light Sensors, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Magnetometer will add on to the features of this Smartphone.

Blackberry Z10 is fuelled by 1,800mAh of battery and is reported to weigh around 125 grams.

Blackberry Smartphones are known for its fan following. But as the demand of Google’s Android devices increased a lot, Blackberry lagged behind a bit. It faced tough competition with Google’s Android OS and Microsoft Windows Phone OS also.

RIM is expecting to achieve a big portion of Smartphone’s market, after the launch of its Blackberry 10 Phones. The launch event is scheduled to take place on 30th January 2013.

And if RIM keeps the pricing of Blackberry 10 Phones lower, It is confirmed that its competitors will be facing a new era of hard times.
