Phillips to Launch rival to Samsung Galaxy Note II

The famous Electronic Manufacturer Phillips is soon going to launch a rival of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy Note II.

Phillips is expected to soon launch a Smartphone naming as ‘Phillips W8355’. This would be a budget Dual SIM Android Smartphone.

Phillips W8355 would sport a 5.3 inch qHD Capacitive touch screen with 540 x 960 resolution. Beneath, it is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex-A5 Dual core Processor, GPU: Adreno 203 coupled by 512MB of RAM. It will run on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System.

It packs a 5 Megapixels, 2592×1944 pixels, Autofocus camera with LED flash.

The Philips W8355 has been rumoured a lot from last few days and is a hot topic of conversation over many blogs.
Many compare this smartphone with Samsung’s Galaxy Note II or Samsung Galaxy Grand S and often with the latest launched Sony Xperia ZL.

Its great features include a large display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels which makes this device an attractive option. And its Dual SIM capability allows you to merge your official and personal contacts on one phone.

However, the running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich instead of Android Jelly Bean can be a weaker point for this Smartphone.

Currently, there is no official report about the pricing of this Smartphone. However, a low price tag can be beneficial for its sales reports.
