Panasonic India has added two new tablets in their Toughpad Series by launching tablets named Toughpad FZ-G1 and Toughpad JT-B1. The Toughpad series has been known for a rugged exterior to handle a certain degree of torture. Coming to the specs, Toughpad FZ-G1 sports a 10.1-inch WUXGA Display with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels.This tablet comes with Windows 8 Pro 64-bit with Windows 7 downgrade option available. It features a third generation Intel Core i5 processor clocked at 2.9GHz paired up with 4GB of RAM. It has an internal memory which is expandable up to 8GB and also houses the Intel HD Graphics 4000 UMA. Because of its rugged nature, the device has 120cm drop shock resistant. It is also a Water and Dust resistant tablet. Its connectivity offers 3G. On the other hand, Toughpad JT-B1 is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS based Tablet with wide 7.0 inch daylight readable 4-point Multi touch Display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. It has been powered with 1.5GHz processor paired up with 1GB of RAM and houses 16GB internal memory, expandable up to 32GB via Micro SD Card. On the connectivity front, the device offers Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth and an optional 3G variant. It runs on a 5720 mAh powerful Battery with a replaceable feature which gives high usability to field users. The Toughpad FZ-G1 and The Toughpad JT-B1 are available for sale at Rs 1,75,000 and Rs 69,000 respectively (excluding taxes). Panasonic has also unveiled two new rugged handheld computers named JT H-300 & JT H-320 based on Panasonic’s TSA (Total shock Absorbing) Design, which can go easily with tough working conditions.
