Oppo N1 CyanogenMod Edition officially announced, set to launch in December

Oppo has announced that the limited edition of Oppo N1 flagship smartphone with CyanogenMod ROM will be available to buy in December. Company stated that the limited edition of the smartphone will be running CyanogenMod Android ROM out-of-the-box and will be available for the same price as the regular version of the phone.

Oppo said the limited Oppo N1 CyanogenMod Edition will arrive with additional goodies compared to the regular variant. It will be having CyanogenMod stickers, a specially designed case with CyanogenMod mascots and unique packaging. Oppo N1 was originally announced in September, featuring a 5.9-inch full HD display with 373 pixels per inch density. The processor powering the phone is 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ8064 supported by decent 2 GB of RAM. The phone comes in 16/ 32 GB internal storage variants without support for external storage. Company has fueled the phone with a massive 3610 mAh battery and it also comes with Techograph feature, which allows tracking of your vehicle’s speed.

“The CyanogenMod team has tailored their software to specifically support all of the unique features of the OPPO N1 including the O-Touch back touch panel, O-Click Bluetooth remote control, the revolutionary rotating camera, and also unique features from ColorOS such as double tap to wake and screen-off gestures,” company said in the press release. Oppo also stated that the regular edition of the phone will not be left out of the special CyanogenMod party as well. Company will be loading the regular versions of the phone with the ROM, so the buyers will be able to flash it right out of the box, if they are not satisfied with the Stock interface.
