Alleged images of the OnePlus 3 and its retail box surface online

Earlier this month, a report indicated that the OnePlus 3 would sport Dash Charge quick charging technology along with a 3,500mAh battery. Now a handful of live images of the upcoming flagship along with several photos of its retail box have hit the interwebs. The phone’s images suggest that it will run OxygenOS 3.0 based on Android Marshmallow.

As seen in the live images, the OnePlus 3 will sport a metal body. The large primary camera lens with an LED flash is seen in the photos. On the front, the phone is seen with a camera and a home button, which reportedly will also work as a fingerprint sensor. There are multiple images of the retail boxes, which could either indicate all the options OnePlus is considering for the final packaging, or different retail boxes for different markets.

As per the earlier reports, the OnePlus 3 flagship will be released in two variants – one with 4GB of RAM and another with 6GB of RAM, both of which will be powered by Snapdragon 820 SoCs. The company is expected to officially unveil the handset next month, so stay tuned for updates.
