After the launch of the Sony Xperia Z1, company was reported to be working on the miniature version of this flagship device and now an official document (not from Sony) confirms that the mini smartphone is actually in the works. According to a leaked document from the Japanese telecom operator NTT Docomo, Sony is confirmed to be making the mini version of its recent flagship smartphone and it will be called Sony Xperia Z1 F.
The leaked document from the telecom operator suggests that the phone will be launched in four color choices which include Black, White, Pink and kind of Lemon Yellow. The leaked document is actually referencing the specifications of the local version of the phone which will be launching under the telecom operator in Japan.
Leaked document suggests that the Sony Xperia Mini Z1 F will be carrying 4.3inch HD touch screen display with the resolution of 720 pixels which is lower than the full sized flagship. It is powered by the same 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 quad core processor which is used in its bigger brother. It also suggests that the mini version will be carrying the same 20.7MP camera.
It is reported be powered by a 2300mAh battery which is a bit lower comparing to the 3000mAh battery present in the Sony Xperia Z1 flagship. The specifications of the phone mentioned in the leaked document align nicely to the previously leaked features. Still, we are not sure if the phone is really in the works, so we are expecting Sony to officially announce the phone soon to put an end to all the rumors regarding the mini version emerging on the web.
