NXG Electronics, the Pune based mobile phone manufacturer has launched its first phablet, the XFAB 2 Mini. The phablet is a dual SIM phone working with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system.
The XFAB 2 Mini has a 4.7-inch qHD IPS capacitive touch screen with display resolution of 960 × 540 pixels. The phone is built with a1.2 GHz dual core MediaTek MT6577 processor and has a RAM of 1GB.
The phablet includes connectivity options such as 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with EDR and A2DP, aGPS. It is integrated with a 12 MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash which gives 720p HD video recording, and a 2MP front camera which is good for video calling.
The XFAB 2 comes with 4GB of memory built in with capacity for external memory expansion up to 64 GB via micro SD card. No details are available regarding the phones battery capacity beyond its being a Lithium-ion polymer battery.
The phone comes preloaded with some essential smartphone apps such as Facebook, Whatsapp, Times of India, custom made Blog App by NXG to name a few.
The phone has excellent display and has feather touch sensitivity. It runs on a powerful processor and has ample RAM to ensure smooth operations.
The company claims the phone is built to support 3D gaming, which will make it a hit with avid mobile gamers. The phones camera comes with features such as automatic exposure, adaptive lens correction, image sensor features which enhance the photography experience.
The phablet will be available in the market from February 5, 2013 onwards. The company has launched competition in the low price phablet section which has tough players such as Karbonn A30, Byond Phablet 3, Micromax A116 to name a few.
