There were rumors on the web from a long time that NVIDIA might be planning to enter in the tablet market with its self branded device. And, now it looks like the rumors were quite true because photos of the back panel of Tegra Tab branded device has been leaked online. Leaked images suggest the design of the NVIDIA tablet is going to be a bit similar to the recently launched gaming console NVIDIA Shield.
The Verge has also reported that NVIDIA has registered Tegra Tab trademark in the US Patents office, so this report also pushes the confirmation of NVIDIA working on its self branded tablet device. Not many details of the tablet are available at the moment but the leaked photos suggest it will be having a 5MP rear camera, Micro HDMI port, Micro USB port as well as Stylus pen feature.
By the looks we can assume it will be having rubber finish on the back which will make it similar to Google Nexus 7 tablet. There are no details available on the display of the device but rumors suggest it will be featuring a 7inch 1080p full HD screen. It is highly expected that the NVIDIA Tegra Tab will be powered by the Tegra 4 processor to provide superb gaming experience. NVIDIA is having stiff competition in the chip market from Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, so it’s quite obvious that company will be planning somehow to go ahead the rival brands and tablets for gaming lovers with superb performance is a good segment to start with.
