Nokia Lumia 610, Nokia’s cheapest smartphone running Windows Phone, will be available in India from next month for approximately Rs.11,000.
The Finnish handset maker had announced the Lumia 610 back in February this year in the Mobile World Congress. The company plans to release it in Indian markets by next month.
Nokia has already begun plans to make the smartphone available in other parts of Asia like Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam and Taiwan. The Lumia 610 will be available in these countries over the next two weeks. After its Asia launch, Nokia will is expected to release the smartphone in India around mid-May.

will be available for Rs. 11,000. The most affordable smartphone in Nokia’s Lumia series, the Lumia 610 will be powered by the Windows Phone Tango OS. With the affordable price-tag, if you’re expecting Nokia to cheap out with the Lumia 610’s hardware specifications, then you’re happily mistaken. The Lumia 610 is expected to be powered by an 800 MHz processor along with 256 MB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The smartphone will also be equipped with a 5 megapixel camera and full MMS capabilities.
In addition, the Lumia 610 will also come preloaded with several Nokia apps including Nokia Maps, Nokia Music, Nokia Drive and others. The Nokia Lumia 610 will be offered in four different colors- Black, White, Cyan and Magenta.
