Nokia Guru music player with NFC support leaked online with alleged press render

Nokia is planning to introduce a music player reportedly dubbed as Nokia Guru in the market pretty soon. Alleged press shot of the device is also leaked online via a post by @evleaks Twitter account. The popular gadget tipster has also stated that it will be competing against the highly popular device, Apple iPod Shuffle and it will be also having Near Field Communication (NFC) which is not present in Apple’s device.

There is not much information regarding the features of the Nokia music player is available at the moment but it is expected to launch tomorrow in an event in Abu Dhabi along with many other Nokia devices. Nokia is also reported to launch Nokia Serius Windows RT tablet, Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet as well as a new phone in the Asha series in the same press event.

It looks like Nokia is planning to launch a device for the shrinking stand-alone MP3 player market. The Nokia Guru can also be a supporting accessory for the high-end phones by the company. It is reported to come with a micro USB port for charging, Volume rocker buttons on the side and it will be also having a clip to hang it around just like Apple iPod Shuffle. In related news, specifications and the price of the Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet have been leaked online via a listing of the device on a Chinese online store. Accidental listing has confirmed that it will be priced around 4,999 Yuan or $899. It will be having a 6inch full HD display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor.
