“The Nokia C1 is rumoured to come with a Snapdragon 830 processor and 4GB of RAM”Nokia was in the news recently for its affordable D1C smartphone, which will allegedly be unveiled at MWC 2017 in February. Now, new rumours, backed by several renders have surfaced regarding the company’s flagship for 2017, the C1.
The new renders, which first leaked on Chinese social media platform Weibo, showcase the Nokia C1 that sports a high screen-to-body ratio. The renders of the smartphone hint towards dual front-facing speaker units as well as no home button. To the back, the renders display the Nokia C1’s dual-camera setup which has also been accompanied by two flash units of different sizes. The aperture size of the two camera sensors on the back is visibly different as well.
Besides the physical overview, the renders also shed some light on the alleged specs of the C1. The smartphone will allegedly come with a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 830 processor and will be aided with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone will reportedly come in three different models with varying storage capacities of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. The dual-camera setup on the back comes with a 12MP and 16MP sensor combination while the front facing camera packs a 5MP sensor. The Nokia C1 will run Android Nougat and will reportedly be fuelled by a 3,210mAh battery.
While the pricing for the same has not yet been leaked, the C1 is expected to make its debut in the first quarter of 2017.
