“It appears the Nokia 6 could launch in more markets outside China”
Earlier this month, HMD Global introduced its first Nokia-branded Android smartphone called the Nokia 6. The company announced that the smartphone would be exclusive for China. However, it appears the brand is working on a new variant of the phone, which will be launched in other markets globally.
A new variant of the Nokia 6 with model number TA-1003 has been spotted on the Bluetooth certification website alongside the TA-1000 model, which is exclusive for China. The TA-1003 could be the global variant of the device, which speculations indicate can be unveiled at MWC in Barcelona in March.
For the uninitiated, the Nokia 6 features an all-metal design, a 5.5-inch full HD display with a layer of 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3, a Snapdragon 430 octa-core SoC, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It comes with a 16MP rear camera, an 8MP front shooter, a 3,000mAh battery, 4G LTE, USB Type-C, Dolby ATMOS sound and Android Nougat.
