Nokia has officially announced two more feature phones dubbed as Nokia 106 and Nokia 107 in China. Feature phones are currently pushed down to the bottom of the market by the smartphones, but still the Finnish smartphone manufacturer is making devices for basic level phone buyers. Both of the phones are featuring TFT displays and running on the Nokia Series 30 basic level mobile OS platform.
Features wise, the Nokia 106 comes with a 1.8inch QVGA display with the resolution of 128*160 pixels. It comes with an 800mAh battery which is said to be offering 10 hours of talk time & 850 hours of standby time which is around 35 days. It can store up to 500 contacts in the phone memory and comes with 32 polyphonic ringtones. It is a single SIM device but it supports micro SIM instead of the regular size SIM. Other features of the phone include FM Radio, dust proof keyboard and LED flashlight. The second device, Nokia 107 is also featuring the same 1.8inch display and micro SIM slots. But, it comes with Dual SIM connectivity features and powered by a larger 1020mAh battery with 12.7hours of talk time and 835 hours of standby time. It also comes with microSD card slot to expend the storage up to 16GB. Both of the devices are currently announced for the Chinese market but they are also spotted on the Nokia India website in the list of upcoming devices in the country. So, it is sure that these feature phones will be hitting the Indian market shelves in upcoming days.
