Nokia 105 and 301 Budget Phones Preview

The time might not be really good for the Finnish mobile handset manufacturer Nokia, who ruled the cell phone market for a very long period of time. However, the mobile giant has not yet given up on its hopes to fight with the dominating names of Apple and Samsung emerge back in the market. Nokia is already a hit with its Lumia series, and now at the current Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013, Barcelona, the company has announced two new low-cost handsets namely, Nokia 105 and Nokia 301. Nokia-301 Stephen Elop, President and CEO of Nokia commenting on the launch said that the momentum behind Nokia is actually gaining. The launches of the two new handsets reflect the company’s commitment to broaden Nokia devices and services portfolio to meet the demands of people and businesses around the globe. He also added by saying that Nokia wants to offering better experiences at a more affordable price and thus, the company is reinventing the battle for affordable mobile devices, and Nokia also has the building blocks to win in this battle. The new Nokia 105, which is supposed to cost a bit over 1,000, and it is an inexpensive alternative for first-time mobile users and smartphone owners. Nokia is trying to re-establish a new position for itself in the mobile market by launching new products, ever since it lost its number one spot to Samsung towards the end of 2012. With the beginning of the year 2013, Nokia tasted record sales of its budget Lumia and Asha series mobile phones all over the world. According to the reports, Nokia is trying to regain its number one position in the mobile market with its extensive line-up of low-cost and feature-rich handset collection aimed at the consumers in developing and highly populated countries such as India. The new Nokia 301 and 305 are supposed to hit the markets of India, Africa, Asia-Pacific and other international markets by the second quarter of 2013.
