Motorola RAZR has been launched in India. The thin and lightweight smartphone comes equipped with 4.3-inch super AMOLED advanced display coated with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass screen; while the body is covered with splash-guard Kevlar fiber. With 1GB RAM, the smartphone comes with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor; and runs on Android 2.3 OS. Motorola RAZR comes preloaded with the Motorola MotoCast app that allows users to stream or download content from their PC straight to the device. The screen sports a wider range of colours than most LCD HDTVs, claims the company. In addition, it has front-facing 720p HD video camera and 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video capture that can help to create your own movies – all with image-stabilization technology. “One of the best-selling mobile phones of all time, the original Motorola RAZR redefined what a mobile phone was as people worldwide proudly flaunted their fashion items,” said Robert van Tilburg, senior regional sales director for Motorola Mobility in South Asia. “With the new Motorola RAZR smartphone we’re bringing sexy back in a stylish and sleek body with the power to create experiences you won’t find in any other smartphone. We expect style-conscious and technology-savvy people in India will be eager to get their hands on this new fashion icon.” Smart Actions – a preloaded app on Motorola RAZR — lets you automate everyday tasks and enable better battery life. The app can turn down the ringer when you step into work, change the Bluetooth and GPS settings when you get home to save battery, or send a text to someone if you miss their call. Motorola RAZR is available in India at select stores in select cities at a best buy price of Rs 33,990 (MRP: Rs 35,990).
