Motorola schedules launch event for One Power on September 24th in India

“The Motorola One Power will be the brand’s first notch-toting smartphone in the country”

Motorola just debuted its top-end variant of the G series (Moto G6 Plus) in India last week. And now, the phone maker is all set to launch another smartphone in the subcontinent, the Motorola One Power (first impressions), on September 24th. The Android One device was unveiled earlier this month at IFA, and thankfully, Motorola didn’t take as much time to bring its latest smartphone in the country as it did with the Moto G6 Plus (first impressions).

As far as specifications are concerned, the Motorola One Power features a 6.2-inch Full-HD+ LCD Max Vision display with a notch and a 19:9 aspect ratio. At the heart of the handset is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. It comes with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Depending upon the RAM capacity, the phone is available with 32GB and 64GB built-in storage, respectively. The handset also has a room for microSD expansion of up to 256GB.

The Motorola One Power runs stock Android and is part of Google’s Android One Program, promising timely updates. A 5,000mAh battery supported by TurboPower fuels the handset. The rear camera setup comprises a 16MP f/1.8 + 5MP f/2.2 cameras and a 12MP sensor at the front. Connectivity options range from 4G LTE, USB Type-C, Bluetooth v5.0, and GPS.

The One Power is an India-exclusive launch, so we doubt that the brand will also be unveiling its affordable sibling, the Motorola One in the country.
