moto_c2_plus_story3As you can see in the images, the upcoming Moto C2 and Moto C2 Plus come with a design language similar to the company’s Moto E4, sans the antenna bands. Unlike some of the recent smartphones, the next generation of C series smartphones feature thick bezels at the front on all sides of the display. The volume rocker and the power button are seemingly placed on the right side of the handsets.

Interestingly, the Moto C2 Plus variant has been tipped to come with a home button-embedded fingerprint sensor at front but the regular variant just comes with the company’s label in the bottom bezel and expected to give this feature a miss. Both smartphones are expected to feature a single camera at back within the company’s signature circular module. Both front and as well as rear camera sensors on the smartphones are expected to come along with flash support.

moto_c2_plus_story1To recall on the specs offered by the Moto E4, the handset features a 5-inch HD display with a 2.5D glass on top, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM. The phone comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further increased by inserting a microSD card. In terms of optics, the handset comes with an 8MP rear snapper and a 5MP front shooter. The smartphone sips power from a 2,800mAh battery.
