CES 2018: Motorola introduces Livermorium Slider Keyboard and Lenovo Vital Moto Mods

Ever since the launch of the first-gen Moto Z semi-modular smartphone, Motorola has been introducing new Moto Mods accessories from time to time. Most recently, the brand introduced the Polaroid Insta-Share Printer Moto Mod, which allows you to capture, print and share photos anywhere. Now at CES 2018, the company has added two more Moto Mods to its portfolio. The brands new Mods include the Livermorium Slider Keyboard and Lenovo Vital Moto Mod.

Keyboard Moto Mod

The Livermorium Slider Keyboard Moto Mod was the winner of the first ‘Transform the Smartphone Challenge’ with crowdfunding platformIndiegogo. The accessory gives you a full QWERTY slider keyboard, while letting you tilt the phone’s screen up to 60-degrees. The brand says that this Moto Mod delivers when a touchscreen cant handle your typing needs. The Modhas a separate number row, shortcut for different utilities, Android navigation keys and a 1,700mAh battery, which delivers 15 hours of extra standby time for your smartphone.

Lenovo VItal Mod

As for the Lenovo Vital Moto Mod, the accessory sports advanced sensors, which allows you to measure five vital signs from one Moto Mod-sized integrated device. The five vital signs the device lets you measure include heart rate, respiratory rate, Pulse Ox, core body temperature, systolic and diastolic blood pressure from your finger.

The Livermorium Slider Keyboard Moto Mod comes in two variants one with a battery and one without. The former costs $199 (~Rs 12,500), while the latter will set you by $99 (~Rs 6,300). The Lenovo Vital Moto Mod is being offered for $395 (~Rs 25,000). The Livermorium Slider Keyboard Mod will go on sale later this quarter from the Moto Store in the US, while the Lenovo Vital Moto Mod will be available in April. International availability hasn’t been announced as of now.
