LinkedIn is on the coverage to purchase popular news aggregator app called Pulse News. According to AllThingsD, LinkedIn is keen on purchasing the app which is estimated to be between $50 and $100 million. It was also announced that LinkedIn the popular app to chat with professionals and friends will compete with other biggies of Yahoo and Microsoft through Pulse. Microsoft earlier partnered with Pulse on a different platform of mobile web app, and hence LinkedIn will have to compete with arch rival of Microsoft as well.According to information from AllThingsD, there are a host of other companies keen to grab hold of Pulse such as Facebook, Gannett and Amazon. It is quite out of the weather that Facebook and Amazon will obtain Pulse. The report said that sources claim that the deal was almost complete and would be unveiled this week, even though there is ample time for closure of the deal.
