LG is reported to be working on the third generation of LG Vu smartphone. According to the Korean media LG Vu III is going to feature high-end features and bigger display than the previous edition of the phone. Recently LG has dropped the Optimus branding and the next smartphones in this series will be rebranded as ‘Vu’.
According to the leaked report LG Vu III will be featuring a 5.2 inch touch screen display with the resolution of 960*1280 pixels. It is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with LTE advanced network support. Reports suggest it will be running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system version out of the box. Camera features of the phone include 13MP rear shooter. According to the sources company is going to announce the phone in September this year at the IFA Trade show in Berlin. However, company didn’t send any invitation to the press at the moment about its LG event in Berlin next month. It is going to compete against the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phablet that is also expected to launch in Berlin next month. Previous phone in the series LG Optimus Vu II didn’t really gain much attention among the smartphone buyers outside South Korea. So, it is highly expected that the next edition of the phone is going to be specially targeted for the smartphone buyers in the homeland of the company.
